Things I have done this week/weekend other than write my NaNoNovel:
- prepared nine dinners in one hour at one of those food-prep places (did you all know that I write for another blog, too? It’s all about FOOD and it’s called MuffinTop)
- watched Almost Famous with my kids (I LOVE THIS MOVIE)
- watched first half of Wizard of Oz with my kids (ditto)
- went to massive Chinese banquet birthday party for my kickboxing teacher
- went to my first martial arts class
- cleaned house for big gathering tonight
All I can say is, it’s a really good thing I am not hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year.

I love the Wizard of Oz, too! It’s always great to watch, always something new to enjoy (e.g. the part when Scarecrow asks Dorothy to take him with her, and that “I won’t try to manage anything, because I can’t THINK!” So funny.)
Your first martial arts class is a very cool thing.
Nine dinners in an hour! That is impressive.

Hey Susan, I thought that was you commenting on my RD post re: cooking as a working parent, but I wasn’t sure when I clicked thru to your other blog. But thanks!

Martial arts! Ai-ya!! Hey, Susan, that’s fantastic. Happy punching and kicking. Makes me want to practice some combinations.
