WordPress has a function that lets me see what sorts of search engine terms bring people to my blog. Many people have posted funny and very odd terms but mine have always been fairly straightforward and boring. One of the most common ones is “nose piercing” (ha!) which brings them here, or “racial identity development” which leads here. But most of them are fairly unremarkable and straightforward.
Yesterday, though, this one caught my eye.
ito if you were here be ok
What does that mean? It was very touching to me, especially since not many people call me Ito. But who wrote that? What were they looking for, or trying to say? Maybe it wasn’t even meant for me. But it felt like a sweet, concerned message in a bottle.
So — I am okay. It was a very intense weekend, but I completed my assignment, and I hope it will see the light of day, somewhere. I’ll keep y’all posted. I will be writing more soon about the long and arduous learning process I went through. I learned a lot. So much. And I would like to share it, but it will take some time to get that blog post together.
Meanwhile, I am not the only one who had a tough personal time with the Supreme Court decision. Read Cecily’s blog – she says it all, too.

Very nice. I did a spam-subject-line poem on my blog a while back. It’s one of my least-read posts ever, but I’m thinking of doing another one, because I think it’s lovely.
